| Facilities.
The club has a large clubhouse/station named Massey Junction
after the patron Anne Massey. It includes a kitchen, toilets, showers,
library and display area. There is a large covered area/station platform,
and two separate tracks which meet at Massey Junction.
Track one is the Spiral Hill track which climbs at a gradient
of 1 in 60. This track includes gauges of 3.5", 5" and 7.25". Its length
is 850 meters. A 20 meter tunnel is also included.
The second track, the Praire Route, runs 1200 meters around
Centre Park and is fairly level. It is 7.25" gauge only and includes a
60 meter viaduct.
Running
Times.
The railway is open every Sunday form 11 am to 4 pm, weather
permitting.The ticket office closes at 3.30.
All fares are $2 per ride or a discount ticket of 12 rides
for $20.
Party groups are catered for by arrangement, a discount
may be available.
General Meetings.
These are held on the fourth Thursday of every month from
7pm to 10pm. These include general business, and a bits-and-pieces section
where members display their current projects. The evening finishes with
a light supper.
